The long version
I was born in Pune, India and grew up in Bangalore. For most of my time in Bangalore, I was a student at St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School. In 1993, I left India to complete my high school education (A-Levels) in Singapore, graduating in 1996. Upon graduating from high school, I decided to do my undergraduate work at Davidson College near Charlotte, North Carolina.
After graduating from Davidson, I worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Discovery Informatics, playing a supporting role to scientists involved in genomics research.
I am currently a graduate student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. If all goes well, I should be graduating in a few years with a PhD.
